No MCP. No plugin hell. Just copy and paste your design into MagicPath and turn it into code with pixel-perfect accuracy—assets preserved.

## How to Use Figma Connect

1. **Connect your Figma account**
First, connect MagicPath to your Figma account. This allows MagicPath to access your designs and preserve all your assets. You can connect to Figma directly from any project canvas using the Import from Figma button, or from your settings.

2. **Copy your design from Figma**
Select any frame, component, or element in Figma. MagicPath works with everything from simple components to complete applications and landing pages.

   Using Figma Desktop App
Press ⌘L (Mac) or Ctrl+L (Windows) to copy the link directly to your clipboard.

   Using Figma Web App
Press ⌘L (Mac) or Ctrl+L (Windows) — this will update the URL in your address bar. Copy the link from the address bar, or right-click on the layer and select "Copy/Paste as" → "Copy link to selection".

Note: Using ⌘L / Ctrl+L will copy the outermost parent group. If you want to copy a specific layer or subset inside a frame or group, right-click on the layer in Figma's layer panel and select "Copy/Paste as" → "Copy link to selection".

3. **Paste into MagicPath**
Paste your design directly into MagicPath and watch it transform into a fully functional, interactive prototype. Your design is converted with pixel-perfect accuracy—colors, typography, spacing, and all your assets are preserved exactly as you designed them.

## Try it now with our Starter File

We've prepared a Figma file with sample designs you can import right away. Open it, follow the instructions on each artboard, and experience Figma Connect in seconds.

## What Gets Preserved

- Images & icons — All assets are automatically extracted and included
- Typography — Font families are preserved if using Google Fonts. For custom fonts, AI will choose the closest match, but you can always edit in the editor
- Colors & gradients — Exact color values and gradient definitions
- Layout & spacing — Precise positioning, padding, and margins
- Effects — Shadows, blurs, and other visual effects

## Tips for Successful Extraction

- • Keep your Figma file organized — Clean layer names and well-structured groups significantly improve import quality
- • Practice good layer hygiene — Avoid unnecessary nesting and keep your layer hierarchy simple and logical
- • Don't overcomplicate — Simpler designs with clear structure convert more accurately than overly complex files

## What's next?

Once your design is in MagicPath, you can use AI to add interactivity, create hover states, build out user flows, or generate variants. Your static Figma design becomes a living prototype you can share, test, and iterate on.

## Available on All Plans
